What's in a Texas Tab

Swig lists three ingredients:

Dr Pepper, the soda base
Vanilla, a flavor syrup
Coconut Cream, a sweet coconut creamer

In plain English it's a creamy vanilla-coconut Dr Pepper. It's sweet and fizzy, with a smooth finish from the cream. It's part of Swig's dirty soda menu, where a soda gets flavors and creams mixed in.

Swig's online ordering menu shows each drink's Kid's Cup price first. As of October 2026, Google's AI summary and a Facebook post both say "$2.90 for a 44 oz". That's wrong: $2.90 buys the 12 oz, and a 44 oz is $4.04 at the middle-priced store. Our Swig sizes and prices page covers every cup size.

How the Texas Tab price adds up

Every Texas Tab price is the cup plus two add-ons. At the middle-priced store:

Part	32 oz
32 oz cup of Dr Pepper	$2.79
Vanilla	$0.40
Coconut Cream	$0.65
Texas Tab	$3.84

The parts cost a little more or less by store. A 32 oz cup is $2.45 to $2.89. Vanilla is $0.40 or $0.45, and coconut cream is $0.65 or $0.70. That's why a 32 oz Texas Tab runs from $3.55 to $4.04.

The same prices tell you what changes cost. Each extra flavor syrup adds $0.40 or $0.45. Each extra cream or puree adds $0.65 or $0.70. Blending adds $1.50.

How to order a lighter Texas Tab

You can change a Texas Tab when you order, in the Swig app or at the window:

Diet Dr Pepper or Dr Pepper Zero. Free at every Swig store.
Sugar-free vanilla (SF Vanilla). Same price as regular vanilla at every store. Swig doesn't publish its calories.
A different cream. Vanilla cream or half and half cost the same as coconut cream.
Lite ice. No charge.

Swig doesn't publish calories for changed drinks, so we can't give a number for a diet Texas Tab. For drinks that are light as they come, see Swig sugar-free drinks.
