How Swig came to Oviedo
The Oviedo shop first showed up in public records. On March 9, 2026, WhatNow reported that Swig had filed permit applications with the state's business-regulation agency for 3607 Aloma Avenue, and that no opening date had been announced.
By the time we checked in October 2026, Swig's store list showed the store with full hours and a working online menu. In Google's keyword data, searches for "swig oviedo" peaked at 14,800 in May 2026 and have run between about 900 and 1,600 a month since August.

Why Swig costs more in Oviedo
Swig doesn't charge one price everywhere. Each store sits on a price list, and Oviedo's list is the highest we found. Of the 56 items it sells in a 32 oz cup, 55 cost more than at a middle-priced Swig, by $0.10 to $0.35. The only exception is the water cup, which is $0.99 at every Swig.

Not everything costs more. Swig Energy ($3.49 Small, $5.25 Medium, $6.99 Large), the cookies, the pretzel bites and the hot chocolate are priced the same as at a typical Swig.
The same list is used at only four other stores, and three of them are in the Orlando area. Oviedo's 324 prices match exactly at both nearby Orlando stores (Collegiate Way and Alafaya Trail), at Crossridge Exchange in Clermont, and at one store outside Florida, Brookhaven Johnson Ferry Rd in Atlanta.
