Swig Lafayette: Menu With Prices, Hours and Location

Swig Lafayette is the store in The Forum shopping center at 4533 Johnston Street, and it was the first Swig in Louisiana when it opened in July 2025. A 32 oz Texas Tab costs $3.84 here. That's 20 cents less than at Clermont, Florida's first Swig, which 2025 reporting tied to the same franchisee. It's also a dime less than at Winter Garden's Hamlin store, a site he had planned then.

In 2025 The Advocate named the franchisee behind the Lafayette store as Chase Herbert, a Florida-based operator "whose Swig locations are all in the Orlando area" (Adam Daigle, April 14, 2025). A few months later, GrowthSpotter identified him as the franchise owner of the Crossridge Exchange store in Clermont and listed a Hamlin Town Center storefront in Winter Garden among his upcoming sites (James Wilkins, July 1, 2025). Across the whole 324-price menu, each Florida store charges more than Lafayette on 275 prices and the same on 49; neither is cheaper on anything. The 275 are every soda, refresher and sweet tea, plain or built, in every cup size. The 49 that match are Swig Energy, the cookies and pretzel bites, the hot chocolates and the Water Cup. Against Clermont, the gap per item runs from $0.04 to $0.45.

Lafayette, Youngsville and Baton Rouge prices

Louisiana's three Swig menus are identical on all 324 prices. Youngsville's Sugar Mill Pond store, 6.4 miles from The Forum, is drive-thru only on Swig's list. Baton Rouge Village, 63.6 miles east, already shows the same prices on Swig's online menu, but online ordering was off and no hours were posted on October 21, 2026.

So the prices that undercut Orlando are, in chain terms, middle-of-the-road: The Forum's 32 oz cups match the national median on 52 of 56 items, with Bless Your Heart, Oklahomie, Southern Belle and The Big Friendly each a dime cheaper. How Swig came to Lafayette

The Lafayette store got its building permit in April 2025. The Advocate reported on April 14 that Herbert had been granted a permit for 4533 Johnston St., Suite 100, for a project valued at $100,000, with construction to start in May. In the same report, Herbert said he had signed a deal to open a location in Youngsville, at the Bonin Road and Milton Avenue roundabout, with that opening expected early the next year.

The opening date followed in July. The Advocate reported on July 28, 2025 that the first Swig in Louisiana would open at 10 a.m. that Wednesday, July 30, with a soft opening ahead of a grand opening on August 18 (Adam Daigle). Swig's store list for October 21, 2026 shows Sugar Mill Pond in Youngsville open with full hours.
